Sweaty saturday

Happy Saturday!
Today is my day off, so I started my day off sloowwllly, but deliciously! For breakfast I had a bowl of Kashi GoLean with Grape-Nuts drowned in almond milk, topped with berries. Thats a mouthful, literally hehe. It was weird, I left the cereal to stand for 2 minutes and the cereal I guess, had absorbed all the almond milk!

I did 50 minutes of circuit training and strength training on exercise TV, after all that goodness digested! I was feeling to lazy to get my butt to the gym, so I just did the exercises in my room ha! I like the privacy though so I don't really mind. As long as a I am getting a good work-out!

After that was done, I was completely drenched in sweat and had a little post work-out snack!

Since I can remember, Saturday has always been a day of cleaning in my house. So I cleaned up my room and the living room, while reading blogs hehe. Does anyone else find these things addictive? I swear I read so many blogs and time just flies.Anywhooo, for lunch I had..

Half eaten salad with fried egg and an already eaten wrap with hummus! 
Anyways I'm off to clean somemooooree,

Sweet Peanut Potato Crunchies!

Good afternoon dolls!
So this is what I ate for lunch, a salad w/ baby carrots, cucumbers and red onion(mmm, my favorite) and then it was topped with a Sol Veggie burger and hidden underneath of the big burger are my SWEET PEANUT POTATO CRUNCHIES! They were amazing! I used balsamic vinegar for my dressing.

Looks  disgusting, but it was the opposite!
As a post my food on here, you'll probably be really surprised at what I eat, I eat like I'm a prego lady with BAD cravings! But its just food for my soul :) We alll have those weird combos, we like to eat.. righhtt?

To make the crunchies:

I used:
1 Tbsp of Smooth PB
0.125 Cup of Wheat Germ ( half of 1/4)
Half a sweet potato

Excuse the phone in the back, my kitchen is teeny tiny.
I pre-heat the oven to 360 and chopped up the tater in to rectangular looking thingies..
After I melted the PB and drizzled it alllll over the taters and mixed up the wheat-germ as well!
I popped them in the oven and BOOM!
They came out crispy and DELICIOUS! 
There's obviously other ways you can make them, but this was just a random creation I thought about while watching Tyra hehe.

Day 1

        So today, I woke up this morning and enjoyed a bowl of voluminous oats from www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com. No photos though because I ate them early this morning and my camera was dead! It was an overnight mixture of 1/3 Bob Hot Cereal Oats and 1 1/2 of water, put them in the microwave for 2 minutes and then put them in the fridge overnight. Then BOOM!  I had so much fluffy oat meal, it was heavenly!! I added 1/4 cottage cheese and smushed nanner with some berries and cinnamon it was DELISH!










Afterwards, I started my day off with some circuit training. I did Chris Freytags 3-2-1 DVD and Jillian Michaels 6 week 6 pack workout and now I'm sweating like I just got out of the shower. It's lunch-time! Hopefully my camera is alive so you can see my lunch-time eats :)
